11.22.2011 Just Trying to Put up a New Front page.   It’s cold and raining outside and doing this seemed to be a better use of my time… I should leave it at that but it’s so darn easy to leave our statements unqualified.  Communications leans toward expediency.  The reader can form their own assumptions if they choose, interpret all the things not said.  Like, ‘it’s the weekend, and it has been a long time since the last time Brad updated his webpage…’ the assuming could go on, but in most cases the premises in our conversations are just accepted. Maybe not believed, but not challenged.  It’s a necessary practice for anyone who cares to listen.  The truth is I know there are far better uses for my time than working on this webpage.  Like feeding a crying baby in the next room or fixing the leak in the kitchens oven gas line.  Truth ends up being subjective when you consider that words we define them with are symbolic, and any premise can be challenged.  Fortunately, I have no crying baby in the next room or leaking gas pipe. So let’s disregard my premises… or don’t, you can assume they are fraudulent, fictional, illustrations, lies, delusions, jokes or whatever… I don’t care or maybe I do care you’re going to have to just trust and not trust everything I say, I hope simultaneously.

If it was not readily apparent my main goal here was to experiment with the text layout one the new page and to remind myself to feed the baby.
